Dear Friends,
It’s Movember and time to focus on men’s health. To show my commitment,
I’m donating my face to the cause by growing a moustache for the entire
month of November, and need your support. My Mo will spark
conversations, and no doubt generate some laughs; all in the name of
raising vital awareness and funds for prostate cancer and male mental
health.
Why am I so passionate about men’s health?
*1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime
*This year 20,000 new cases of the disease will be diagnosed
*1 in 8 men will experience depression in their lifetime
I’m asking you to support my Movember efforts by making a donation by either:
*Donating online at: http://mobro.co/mo-zone
*Writing a cheque payable to ‘Movember,’ referencing my Registration ID:
4299161 and mailing it to: Movember, PO Box 60, East Melbourne, VIC,
8002
Funds raised will help make a tangible difference to the lives of
others. Through the Movember Foundation and its men’s health partners,
the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue: the national depression and anxiety initiative, they are funding world class research, educational and support programs which would otherwise not be possible.
If you’d like to find out more about the type of work you’d be helping
to fund by supporting Movember, take a look at the Programs We Fund
section on the Movember website: http://au.movember.com/about/funding-overview/
Thank you in advance for supporting my efforts to change the face of men’s health. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Dilip Nair

Good day Friends!! Am back with an interesting post :)

Out of interest, I downloaded the Statement of Direction (via Partnersource) which talks about the roadmap for AX in detail.
Some of the Highlights or takeaways from this document are as follows:
Below is a chart about the tentative release dates
So, all looks exciting for Dynamics AX in the near future :)

Out of interest, I downloaded the Statement of Direction (via Partnersource) which talks about the roadmap for AX in detail.
Some of the Highlights or takeaways from this document are as follows:
- Natural User Interface (NUI) technologies like Touch-based computing based on HTML5
- Windows 8
- Metro UI - This is the future for AX Client. Brandon George has some interesting posts on this topic. See below links.

- Visual Studio 2012/Lightswitch
- Cloud Computing Support
- Single centralized ERP Deployment - This is an interesting topic as previously when I was working with Microsoft, our COE Head had this vision of bringing all silo applications within the Dynamics AX Umbrella. Even in my current organization, our approach is to slowly migrate all our legacy apps running on Access, InfoPath etc. to Ax thereby lowering costs and saving time managing these apps.
- Dynamics Rapid Start Cloud based Services
- Dynamics InformationSource Cloud based Services
- Next major release of Microsoft Dynamics AX to be available on Windows Azure platform

Identifying SID's
Hello! Recently, I was doing some security troubleshooting with Kerberos Authentication, and landed on this useful Microsoft KB Article. This contains the list of SID (Security Identifiers) for common groups used across Windows OS. (includes Win 7, Windows Server 2008 R2). Hope you find it useful especially when you are dealing with security.

Join my Movember Team :)
Dear Friends,
I've registered for Movember and pledged to grow a moustache for 30 days to raise funds and awareness for men's health. This year, we honour the great men who have grown before us and, as Movember and Sons, pay respect to the simple truth "Knowledge is Power, Moustache is King."
As our forefathers always knew, the moustache is the mark of a man. Today, it is a man's ribbon, a symbol to spark conversation and help change the face of men's health.
You can take part either by growing one Dirty Son of a Mo as a Mo Bro, or join as a Mo Sista to help recruit others, share knowledge and support Mo growers.
